Dr. Malotky is an accomplished physician with over 14 years of higher education including a rigorous 6-year integrated residency in Plastic Surgery during which time he performed over 4,000 procedures. Highly sought after out of residency, Dr. Max declined many offers to return to the community in Northern California he once called home. He founded Summit Plastic Surgery in Redding, CA with the goal of providing affordable, safe, and individualized treatment solutions for those looking to improve their appearance and bolster self-confidence.
Specializing in cosmetic surgical and non-surgical transformations of the face, breasts, and body, Dr. Malotky is passionate about using the latest techniques to help you achieve your surgical goals. In addition, the doctor enjoys serving his community by performing breast and skin cancer reconstruction, pediatric plastic surgery, craniofacial reconstruction, and hand surgery.

Janet Erwin
Janet manages all three offices at Summit Medical and Dental Arts. She aided Dr. Malotky in creating Summit Plastic Surgery in 2017. She has a bachelor’s degree in human resources and business administration. Janet is a friendly face at the office that makes sure everything is running smoothly. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, doing anything outdoors like bike riding, and kayaking.

Chelsey Lutz
Chelsey is here to take care of all of your injectable and laser treatment needs! Born and raised here in Redding, CA Chelsey could not imagine starting her healthcare career anywhere else. Her history of being a skin care consultant at the Dermstore, an ICU nurse for 7 years, and now specializing in conscious sedation, makes her the perfect fit for our Summit Plastic Surgery Team!
Chelsey obtained her ADN from College of the Siskious’s and continued on to get her bachelor’s from Simpson University. While not working, Chelsey enjoys camping, fishing, and swimming with her husband and two children.
Communications & Social Media Manager
Kristine Malotky
Kristine is the wife of Dr. Malotky. The two met in Dayton Ohio while she was an on-air personality for FOX Sports Ohio and Dr. Malotky was in his Plastic Surgery residency at the Wright State University. Kristine graduated from the University of Toledo with a bachelor’s degree in communications. From there she helped run her family restaurants and traveled all over the State of Ohio filming commercials, attending football, baseball, hockey and basketball games, engaging with sports fans, and using social media to drive people to FOX Sports to catch the game!
From there, Kristine had an opportunity to work in sales for the Cintas Corporation and enjoyed learning all aspects of her degree. Kristine moved to Redding California in July of 2017 where she fell in love with the small town feel along with the mountains, the mild winters, and the beauty of Lake Shasta. You can find her raising her two sons, always looking to book that next vacation, trying to cook up delicious meals and enjoying the great outdoors.

Christy Standifer
Christy, a native of San Bernardino, California, was raised in Redding. She pursued her medical training within the military. Over the past 19 years, she has dedicated her career as a medical assistant within our community. Her expertise and knowledge are invaluable to our organization. Christy takes great pleasure in collaborating closely with our patients, providing comprehensive information and support throughout their surgical journey.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Christy cherishes spending time with her family and enjoying the tranquility of the lake.
Front Office Coordinator
Sara Dean
Meet Sara, our front office coordinator. Born and raised in the Fall River Valley/Intermountain region, she moved from her hometown of McArthur, CA to the Redding area to pursue a higher education at Shasta College. With a background in business administration and personal relations, she strives to make every patient feel welcome as they step in the office.
Outside of office hours, Sara enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, and being outdoors. She is also an instructor at the same local dance studio she has been training at for 20 years.
Medical/Marketing Assistant
Carly Knight
Carly was born and raised here in Redding, CA. She has worked at Summit Plastic Surgery since it’s inception in 2017. Starting off as the Front Office Coordinator, transitioning to Medical Assisting, and now helping with Marketing, Carly has always felt that the medical field is where she was meant to be. With an associate degree in Natural Sciences from Shasta College, Carly is currently enrolled in the ADN program and is set to graduate in Spring of 2026 in hopes that she can use her nursing degree to better care for her patients.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and shopping.
